Responsibilities: The Associate Director of Marketing will develop and implement strategies for a line of diagnostic tests marketed to healthcare providers and drug companies. These products are designed to help physicians and clinical researchers select and monitor patients to optimize treatment regimens and develop new antiviral and targeted cancer therapies. This is a small marketing team you will be leading and you will be asked to wear many hats working in a broadly defined role. Duties include product positioning, Lifecycle planning, branding, Medical Education strategy, KOL development and running Advisory Boards. You will also work closely with the sales force and internal cross-functional teams, particularly in advance of several upcoming product launches. In this high-profile role you will be asked to assess long-term market potential and make recommendations to senior management about new product alternatives. You will lead a small group of Product Managers, and guide and direct market research and ad agency partners. The Associate Director will also be expected to stay abreast of changing needs in the oncology and HIV markets. This is a blend of strategic and tactical work with both in-line brands and products in late stage development. Overnight travel is estimated at 20%.
