Job Description:
Communicates Hospital policies/Pharmacy Department expectations to subordinate staff.Assures compliance with all Pharmacy laws and regulations, licensing regulations, Joint Commission, and DEA regulations.Duties include: Shall have responsibility for the daily operation of the pharmacy Shall assure compliance with the laws governing the operation of the Pharmacy, Joint Commission regulations, Licensing regulations, and DEA requirements Develops scheduling of the pharmacy personnel consistent with workload demand Directs pharmacy performance improvement activities Develops and updates pharmacy policies and procedures Participates/prepares annual performance evaluations of pharmacy employees Communicates Hospital policies/pharmacy department expectations to subordinate staff Acts as the pharmacy director No pharmacist shall be the pharmacist - in- charge of more than two pharmacies. If a pharmacist serves as pharmacist - in - charge at two pharmacies, a driving distance of more than 50 miles shall not separate those pharmacies. Any pharmacist that acts as the pharmacist -
