Job Description:
The candidate will be responsible for the handling of Home Office underwriting referrals as well as the development of policy forms for all primary lines of business in our expansion countries, excluding yacht. Additional responsibilities include assisting regions with growth and retention goals through strategic underwriting and innovative product enhancement. Product training for field staff, agents and brokers may be warranted and would require some travel. Strong communication and organizational skills are a must as well as the ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a team environment. Position Requirements: This position requires interaction with AIU colleagues and senior management in the Home Office as well as overseas, PCG Product Managers and PCG field employees. Preferred candidates will have a broad range of underwriting experience within the UHNW personal insurance Property & Casualty field (Home, Inland Marine and Automobile). Accommodation to various time zones will be required when conference calls are necessary, so a flexible schedule is preferred. Some international travel will be likely. * 5-10 years professional claims experience with Bachelor\'s Degree or 3-5 years HNW Personal Lines experience with a Master\'s Degree including: product development, contractual knowledge, sales, and marketing * 3 - 5 years of supervisory experience or matrix reporting * Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as interpersonal, analytical and interpretive skills * High level of technical underwriting for large personal lines risks * Excellent project management, problem solving, leadership and presentation skills * Coaching and mentoring skills * Training and audit skills * Relationship and producer management skills
