Serve as a focal point for business development opportunities identified throughout the organization. There is an emphasis on retirement income solutions through various channels and product lines. ĆÆĘ'Ė Disseminate strategic ideas and progress reports to Senior Management. Present findings to management teams as needed. ĆÆĘ'Ė Use financial modeling techniques to prepare cost analyses and justify strategic initiatives. Project management tools and research methodologies (e.g., cost benefit analysis, SWOT analysis) may be used to generate information for use by Senior Management in their ongoing business growth decision-making processes. This position requires the ability to manage project teams representing various departments of the company, as well as legal counsel and external research & consulting vendors. Experience ĆÆĘ'Ė At least 7 years work experience in financial services, predominately in the variable annuity industry. ĆÆĘ'Ė Work experience should include exposure to marketing, sales, and operations functions. ĆÆĘ'Ė Successful track record implementing projects involving internal/external teams with measurable results. ĆÆĘ'Ė Detailed knowledge of the annuity and mutual fund markets, including a comprehensive knowledge of products currently available in these markets and industry trends.
