Job Description:
This group services Directors and Officers and Employment Practices claims for National, Middle Market, and Not-for-Profit entities. Litigated and non-litigated claims will be directed from inception through conclusion. This entails client contact, coverage and liability evaluation, litigation management of outside law firms, resolution strategy and establishment of judgmental reserves. The qualified candidate should have 7+ years' of insurance experience preferably handling Professional Liability claims, Employment practices claims, insurance defense, or coverage litigation. This position requires excellent negotiation skills, good interpersonal and communication skills and a comprehensive understanding of the litigation and arbitration process. A JD, MBA, or CPCU is preferred but not mandatory. Post-graduate education in these areas will count towards the professional experience requirement.
