Job Description:
Jo-Carroll Energy, headquartered in Elizabeth, IL, seeks qualified applicants for the position of Manager of Engineering. The position requires that the individual be self motivated, have the skills and abilities to oversee and manage the cooperative’s engineering department and provide engineering assistance to members, employees, contractors and consultants. The responsibilities of the selected individual will include, but are not limited to: distribution planning, line design, system inspections, implementation and maintenance of distribution/substation automation and power quality. A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is required along with a minimum of three (3) years of electric utility experience. Previous electric utility experience in system planning is most desired. Knowledge of personal computer applications including engineering analysis software, GIS, spreadsheet and word processing is required. Knowledge of electric utility operations and construction, the NESC, and RUS specifications is preferred. For immediate consideration, forward your resume.
