Your Opportunity Marketing Drive is seeking a smart, energetic, strategic-thinking Account Director in our Norwalk, CT office. You will be responsible for developing and running a major piece of business within the agency, maintaining a strong client relationship and managing a large team. The Account Director should have prior account management experience working on Consumer Package Goods brands within a promotion/ marketing agency or equivalent client experience in the area of Consumer Promotion/ Customer Marketing. Key areas of responsibility include working with the client's Integrated Marketing Communications team and their field sales organization to plan and execute national and account specific promotions, management of the creative process, client management, project management, budget management plus training and development of junior staff. Some travel may be required. Who You Are Minimum 10+ years account management experience within a promotion agency or equivalent experience on the client side Prior experience working in Consumer Promotion or Customer/Account Specific Marketing Brand Marketing experience or Field Sales to the Drug Channel a plus Adept in development of an annual plans including Objectives and Strategies, Calendar, Budgets Solid foundation in Consumer Promotion tactics both National and Account Specific Excellent written and verbal communication plus presentation skills mandatory Ability to interact and foster positive relationships with all levels of the organization Effective manager of people and projects
