Public company in Nashville, TN looking for a Procurement professional (MUST HAVE DEGREE and ideally certified) that has significant experience in sourcing, contracting, and purchasing institutional construction and building maintenance services, equipment and materials. Utility and energy sourcing experience a plus. A strong and knowledgeable negotiator, ethical, who embraces best practices in procurement and quality / process improvement. They must have all of the interpersonal people skills (team building, leadership, loyal, creative visionary, persuasive, good written /verbal and presentation skills, motivated, multi-task oriented) and willing to travel and work long hours/weeks. Supervisory experience a plus, but not necessary.
