Job Description: The Opportunity:
Exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or even a part time PhD ‘type’ who wants an interesting challenge to train with PROGNOZ in driving projects from inception to completion. This is a ground opportunity for someone who has passion and likes to do many things with a focus on strong client delivery & support. Will be expected to liaise directly with clients & sales in various roles:
1. Help define (storyboards, use cases) of requirements to be translated to our in-house development team. 2. Assist in creating proposals; product configurations with management. 3. Expected to analyze data sets for appropriate documentation, answering questions for client, developers and sales. 4. Will be expected to be very proactive in status reporting (weekly) to management and client. 5. Ensure that the project is delivered on time, schedule and meets/exceeds client expectations. 6. Expected to produce high-level project plans and drive projects to completion. 7. Ability to understand various data sources and propose how we can use different information to assist the client. 8. Be expected to multi-task on various projects. 9. Client Care and Support, including, but not limited to: a. Proposing new features/modules b. Application testing c. Training & documentation 10. Travel to client’s site(s) (internationally) may be required (< 10-15%)

Job Requirements: 1. Must have Degree, preferably in fields relating to Economics, Agriculture, Energy, or Computing. 2. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills 3. Working computer knowledge a. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite b. Experience in using Access and MSProject a plus 4. MUST be a self starter and willing to get things done with appropriate, but minimal, supervision but appropriate direction. 5. Skill to work well under pressure and adapt as required. 6. Initiative and willingness to assume additional responsibilities as needed beyond the scope of the job description
