Job Description:
Our clients growing transportation practice is searching for a talented Roadway Design Engineer in the firms McLean, VA office.
A Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering and a EIT/PE is preferred with 2-8 years of roadway design experience. Responsibilities will include task and/or project management, conceptual and final design plan production.
Knowledge and experience with roadway design standards and principles (VDOT and Maryland State Highway Authority experience is highly preferred), geometric design and storm water management. Drainage for roadway projects essential.
Must have Microstation experience and familiarity with roadway design software (GEOPAK experience is highly preferred). Autocad 2005 Land Desktop roadway modeling experience is also desirable.
