Job Description:
Our client’s growing transportation practice is searching for a talented transportation engineer in the firm’s Bethesda, MD office.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Transportation/Traffic Engineer to join a fast paced, dynamic organization and become an integral part of a team while working on several high visibility projects simultaneously. Qualified candidates should have 0-2 years of experience in transportation engineering. Successful candidate must exhibit clear understanding in all areas of traffic engineering and/or transportation planning and exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of highway capacity methodology and related traffic analysis software as well as MS Word and Excel applications are a must, and transportation safety experience is a plus. Knowledge of MicroStation, AutoCAD, HCS, Synchro, CORSIM, Passer, Transyt 7F applications is also a plus. Candidates must have a minimum BSCE, MSCE desirable.
