Job Description:
SAFETY ENGINEER
Global Tungsten & Powders Corporation (GTP) located in Towanda, PA currently seeks a Safety Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the facilities Safety Management System program to meet corporate standards. They will monitor and maintain compliance with SMS and OSHA required safety programs through program development, internal auditing and consultation with manufacturing, R&D and support functions. In addition to these responsibilities they will assist line management in conducting accident investigations and process/equipment evaluations and provide technical safety support plant-wide.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Job Requirements:
Required Skills / Qualifications: B.S. or M.S. degree in Safety Management or Chemical Engineering. Relevant safety experience a plus.
Experience in chemical industry/manufacturing preferred.
Experience in applying safety programs in an industrial plant setting, fire prevention, construction a plus.
