Work with both Client's Ad Sales staff and third-party sales agents to develop strategic proposals and presentations * Translate client objectives into an online strategy and targeted media plan * Collaborate with other AARP components to build integrated plans leveraging additional AARP assets * Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of online advertising and serve as a resource to others * Maintain knowledge of market trends, rates and competitive environment * Leverage media research tools to conduct research that strengthens sales efforts * Maintain a high-level of internal and external client-service orientation. * Facilitate the development of custom advertising opportunities * Track the status of new business in the pipeline * Works with sales staff to maximize campaign results on an ongoing basis Desired Skills: 2+ years experience in online advertising working with Fortune 500 clients Proven track record of successfully translating marketing objectives into results for advertisers Ability to leverage qualitative and quantitative information to create persuasive marketing messages Experience using research tools from Comscore and Nielsen/NetRatings Experience overseeing large customer relationships and managing through conflict, driving groups to collective business decisions Experience in sales operations as well as working in a matrix organization Ability to think independently and develop and execute creative solutions Excellent oral & written communication, negotiation and presentation skills Sharp attention to detail Strong quantitative aptitude and analytical skills Proficient in Microsoft Office BA/BS/
