Must be a quick learner with the ability to partner with cross functional-team members to provide cost analysis support to Operations.Construction Job Cost Analyst Job Requirements:* Monitor past due statements/invoices from vendors.* Classify production costs into wages, material and overhead* Distribute costs between the various divisions of management and production* Responsible for routine compilation of manufacturing costs for payroll, inventory accountability, verification of actual costs and computation of variances, etc.* Perform month-end closings, inventory adjustments, transfers and consumptions, as well as quality financial reporting in a timely manner.* Analyze actual labor, material, and overhead cost against Standard/Budget.* Research and explain variances. Report this information monthly or as needed* Maintain and update weekly Work in Process report* These individuals will work closely with project managers in regards to actual cost, budgets, cost incurred, projected cost for the entirety of the project.Candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration* 3-5 years related work experience in cost accounting, account reconciliation and month end closing responsibilities* Excellent analytical, communication, & organization skills required* Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field* Ideal candidate will have both construction and accounting/finance background.* Construction background and Timberline experience a plus.
