Under the general direction of the City Engineer, the Construction Inspection Supervisor oversees the inspection of public improvement and development infrastructure to insure compliance with plans, standards, and specifications of the City of Commerce City. This position is a working supervisor position that performs field work as well as supervising Construction Inspectors and assigned Engineering Interns. Skills/Requirements A high school diploma or GED is required; two years of college level coursework in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred. At least four years of progressively responsible experience in public improvement construction and inspection, including one year of lead worker or supervisory experience is required. One or more NICET or CDOT certifications preferred. A valid driver's license is required.
