We are looking for a seasoned Global Account Manager to join our team. The Global Account Manager will responsible for sales and service of our financial performance management solutions to designated major Federal accounts in assigned territory. Candidates should live in the greater DC, MD, VA area. The financial performance management, Global Account Manager (FPM GMA) will: · Implement sales/marketing tactics and programs in order to meet or exceed assigned territory objectives and drive up close rates in FPM business agenda driven opportunities. · Sell to decision makers at the C-level and OOF executives · Create a long-term sales strategy for FPM accounts, and act as over-all account owner in some accounts while supporting PM reps and IBM Client Execs · Act as liaison between IBM and customers to develop a team selling approach with FPM Pre-Sales technical personnel and FPM Professional Services group. Successful candidates in this role will possess at least 5 years in field software sales, with at least 2 years of experience selling to the office of finance/financial applications. A background in corporate finance, accounting, and financial performance best practices would be beneficial but not required. Candidates for this role will have a successful sales track record as well as major account management responsibility. Business Intelligence and Financial Performance Management solutions knowledge highly preferred. Basic understanding of finance principles important. Current federal sales experience highly preferred.
