Job Description:
: Provides advanced technical financial analysis and solutions to maximize the profitability of the company. Responsible for the preparation of mid-year and end of year corporate reserve reports. Prepare economic evaluations on potential acquisitions. Prepare drilling plans and monitor field activities throughout the company. Participate in drilling and completions.
„X Provide training and assistance with computer applications
„X Optimize operations through tracking and analyzing completion and production data in conjunction with financial data
„X Evaluate assets of potential acquisitions and/or investments through analyzing technical and financial oil and gas reserves
„X Evaluate existing assets through semiannual analysis of corporate reserves and analyzing individual projects at irregular intervals
„X Prepare semiannual reserve reports
Job Requirements:
„X B.S. degree in engineering and 12 to 15 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
„X Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents
„X Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints
„X Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style
„X Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or Board of Directors
„X Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, ad permutations
„X Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlations techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis
„X Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
„X Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram from and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
„X Ability to be flexible and adapt to change
„X Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, the Internet, Aries, and scientific calculator
Supervisory Responsibilities: Up to two engineers or engineering technicians
