Job Description:
Process both portfolio and loans sold on the secondary market.Essential Functions: Receive closed Real Estate loan packages and check into the Loan Trace Database. Utilize recon settlement sheet to determine accuracy of funding. Identify and attempt to resolve any outstanding discrepancies. Prepare general ledger tickets for various fees. Audit performed on all promissory notes, new account set-up sheets and supporting documents to verify terms, collateral, compliance and bank policy guidelines. Review and submit required lien documentation for filing and recordation in proper recording venue. Processes both sold and portfolio loans to ensure all compliance regulations are met. Add exception items to AccountFolio tracking system. Complete set up sheet, copies of general ledger tickets and send to Loan Accounting for booking. Verify all loans booked through daily loan reports. Prepare Imaging Inventory sheets to accompany all documents sent to be imaged. Loans sold on Secondary Market, all documents must be packaged into investor required order and either scanned to investor or shipped manually. Update status of loan on Loan Trace Database. Actively work AccountFolio exception reports for missing or out of compliance documents. Reconcile any loan items pended by investor for final sale and track all final documents to close file. Also, provides daily updates on Mortgage rates.Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: High school diploma or equivalent. Requires a minimum of six months previous banking experience.
