Project Manager Our client needs a Senior-level Project Manager for a July 1st start in Costa Mesa, CA. The Project Manager serves as a senior-level analyst, developer, architect, or project manager for a variety of cross-functional IT activities and/or projects. Duties include: advanced system investigation, design, and development; implementation and management of architectural standards; and/or creating and managing project management processes. This person may also lead software support/maintenance for multiple teams or a broad scope of applications. The PM serves as the lead mentor within his/her area of expertise. Duties and Responsibilities: Develops and/or reviews complex business requirements and design documents; reviews and audits deliverables produced by other team members as part of a change management, architecture review, or PMO process Creates standards for technical design documents and reviews submissions from IT staff to ensure adequacy of the design and documentation Reviews and approves specifications for applications within his/her area of expertise (e.g., claims) Develops software applications and reviews and approves the development of other IT staff members to ensure quality and adherence to standards (e.g., programming language used, re-use of code, etc.) Creates and conducts unit and technical tests.
