Job Description:
Brooklyn based not-for-profit home care agency seeks a goal oriented, self starter to be responsible for the direction and coordination of activities concerned with financial administration of its two licensed agencies. Responsibilities include overseeing the operating budget, treasury functions, general accounting, client/patient business services, computer systems, internal and external financial reporting, i.e., agency/Board of Directors and government agencies. QUALIFICATIONS: 1)Master\'s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. 2)Advanced knowledge in the use of financial software applications, databases, spreadsheets, and/or word processing. 3)Knowledge of Dept. of Health regulations for Licensed Home Care Service Agencies preferred. 4)CPA desirable or 5)Bachelor\'s Degree with a major in Accounting, Finance, or related area, or a Bachelor\'s degree with advance accounting coursework. 6)Five years progressively responsible related financial experience. 7)Advanced knowledge in the use of financial software applications, databases, spreadsheets, and/or word processing.
