an architectural consulting firm in Alexandria, Virginia seeks an Architectural Project Manager to independently coordinate the work of Project Architects and multi-disciplined teams through design development and contract document phases of architectural projects. Projects include healthcare, civic and science & technology new construction and renovation projects. Duties: establish and maintain client relations, including marketing, contractual, design and production meetings; participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code compliance; manage schematic design, design development, contract document and work sessions at project site in conjunction with contractors, clients, Project Architects and other disciplines; manage workload through entire project development to complete documents on schedule, including budget development and compliance; manage subcontractor relationships, including contracts and performance; write & edit architectural product specifications; define work scope of projects, schedules, deliverables, and perform.
