ENGINEERING MANAGER Client is a continuous process manufacturer, is looking for an Engineering Manager. In this position, you will supervise and mentor a staff of engineers in all of the engineering aspects of this operation. Some of your work will be in product development, but most of your time will be spent in redefining and refining the process. The operation is primarily coating and insulating. This industry is a mature industry. In order to maintain competitiveness,the key must be to focus on Lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma manufacturing philosophy. Much of the mentoring you will do with your engineering staff, and for that matter on the floor, will be in Lean Metrics and/or Six Sigma. Client is committed to Lean and Six Sigma. They offer certification as a Black Belt in Lean Sigma.
