NETWORK ENGINEERING MANAGER – CABLEPLANT OBJECTIVE The Network Engineering Cable-Plant Manager will support the global needs of MGM MIRAGE’s Network Engineering Department by being principally responsible for the management of resources thereby ensuring that projects are efficiently conceived, designed, documented, and implemented according to the project plan. This includes Project Plan development, delegating and monitoring tasks, tracking actual to planned performance including variances from project schedule and budget, updating project plan documents, producing status reports, and consulting with management on significant variations or risks in order to minimize the impacts to overall plans. RELATIONSHIPS The Network Engineering Cable-Plant Manager must be able to manage Network Engineering Cable Plant staff on multiple projects within the US and abroad. He/She must work closely with other Network Engineering team members, other IT departments, end users’, construction staff, designers, consultants, and contractors. He/She will also be responsible for working with manufacturers and distributors on product development, strategic supplies and on global pricing.
