The iPod Engineering Division has a strong history of designing evolutionary consumer electronics that have touched millions and changed the way people listen to music. The iPhone is the next step in that evolutionary process.Responsibilities for iPhone Cellular Silicon Technical Lead / Engineering Project Manager:- Manage technical interaction among wireless vendors and internal HW, SW, and test teams, focused on cellular subsystems (e.g., GSM, EDGE).- Ensure alignment of requirements and tasks among all internal teams that touch or depend on these wireless subsystems.- Track progress of internal teams as well as progress of vendors.- Periodically report status of these subsystems, and escalate problems as needed for higher-level decisions / intervention. - Work with internal teams to capture all actions required to meet product milestones. A nominal plan shall cover the entire development cycle of the product, with increasing detail to cover the next quarter, next month, next week, etc.
