Our client, an insurance company based in the White Plains, NY area is looking to add a Controller to their existing team. Working within their Traditional Finance Group, this position is primarily responsible for the development, process and coordination of all aspects of financial accounting, reporting and analysis of current and future reinsurance warehousing / securitization solutions. We are looking for an individual who will be able to review processes and procedures of the group and work with other departments throughout the organization, to consider and implement best practice in reporting and analysis - ensuring all procedures are appropriately documented. This position will also oversee testing of procedures to ensure compliance with documented processes and with SoX controls. Principal responsibilities: 1. Preparation of Statutory financial statements, including Annual and Quarterly NAIC Statements for current and other future reinsurance warehousing / securitization solutions.
