Business Analyst

Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company and are recruiting for IT Business Analyst to be based in Pennsylvania in USA.

Responsibilities:
1. Analyzing the business requirements in regards to IT.
2. Responsible for urgent IT issues raised by CET team members, ensuring they are resolved quickly. Lead for immediate issues.
3. Provided expert business analysis by understanding the customer needs and being widely accepted as an authority on collaborative tools, and training for clients.
4. Lead and delivered projects and service requests by creating work standards, managing timelines, deliverables and setting expectations.
5. Acted as 'Voice of the Customer’ to other IT groups for service improvement and prepared the business for IT changes.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degree or equilivant experience.
5 years experience in investigating and resolving IT issues.
Ability to work effectively with various levels of business and IT customers across geographic areas.
Experience with the following technologies: MS Product Suit, Collaborative Computing Tools (Inc Lotus Notes),Change Control
Knowledge of business organisations and key changes occurring within them.
Proactive in approach to problems
Demonstrated examples of using own initiative
Knowledge of the Inform electronic data capture system

Preferred Qualifications

Must have experience of Project Management or of working on projects. Experience developing a stakeholder / communication plan (type of communications focused to audiences).
Knowledge of groups within IT and contacts within them.
Technical Analysis
Pharmaceutical industry and/or healthcare experience
General Communication Skills / Relationship Management.
Influencing Skills.
Issue / Escalation management.
Awareness of processes and standards which have to be followed (inc iQMS).
Ensuring adherence to quality procedures and sign off.
Ability to produce appropriate communication materials.
Writing technical / formal documents.
