POSITION: Architectural CAD Drafter (3+ yrs experience)
LOCATION: Sacramento, California
SALARY: $43,000/year - $51,000/year DOE

Sacramento California’s most highly respected, innovative, collaborative, and forward thinking Architectural Design & Planning firm, specializing in K-12 Education, Higher Education, Healthcare, Civic, and additional public sector facility design projects is in immediate need of a senior level experienced Architectural CAD Drafter with strong working knowledge of recent versions of AutoCAD & Architectural Desktop.
Job Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
This Architectural Drafter must have an Associates or Technical degree in Computer Aided Drafting & Design (CADD)and significant architectural drafting experience working within an architectural office environment. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of Architectural design or drafting experience and a strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Architectural Desktop ADT. Must have the ability to originate and produce detailed and accurate 2D & 3D architectural drawings, plans, and construction document from Project Architect verbal instructions, hand sketches, and/or project notes. Familiarity with additional programs such as Photoshop, Sketchup, or Illustrator are a plus. Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate professionalism, sound judgment, and good time management skills. Architectural Drafters with prior architectural drafting experience pertaining to K-12 School, Higher Education college & universities, Civic, Commercial, or Public Sector buildings and facilities are preferred. DSA or OSHPD code experience is also a huge plus.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an Architectural Drafter you will be working closely with Licensed Architects, Project Managers, and Job Captains throughout the conceptual design, schematic design, design development, and construction document production phase of our Healthcare, Institutional, K-12 Education, Higher Education, & Civic design projects. Duties will largely consist of origination, revision, production, and coordination of architectural drawings and construction documents; preparation of graphic exhibits; rendering; and coordination with outside structural, electrical, and mechanical engineering consultants.
