Job Description:
The Production Manager oversees the safe and efficient operation of one or more production areas within the manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for planning, directing, and controlling all aspects of the manufacturing process such as environmental compliance, production/processing, quality control and maintenance. The Production Manager is also accountable for Mill and Loading/Warehousing operations.Responsibilities include:* Managing Dry End Operations (including the Mill, Loading and Warehousing operations), Site Maintenance and Reliability coordination and Production planning in accordance with demand* Managing area budget including cost, volume and quality. Also, responsible for managing small project capital budget* Managing equipment and process reliability* Working with other departments to meet plant goals and commitments* Participating in Production and Maintenance coordination* Ensuring that the department is using standard business processes* Overseeing networks and consistency across the plant* Delivering on special project assignments* Participating in succession planning activities.
