Job Description:
Ensure deliverables on time with exceptional attention to quality. Lead a team of 10-16, responsible for the following tasks: receiving incoming shipments of biological samples, verifying the quality and integrity of the samples and their associated information, preparing sample sets for analysis, and shipping of samples to internal and external laboratories. Develop improved methods for organizing the physical handling, inventorying, and storage of samples. Collaborate with internal partners to improve the efficiency, quality, and predictability of production processes. Support the successful transition of GBSM production operations to a new data system. Collaborate with the GBSM training and compliance group to fully document all internal processes and to develop training materials for production staff and their customers. Develop and utilize metrics to measure work status, productivity and quality.
