Achieve department and organizational goals to ensure optimal outcomes for designated patient populations within an approved operating budget. Responsible for the hiring, firing, counseling and evaluation of clinic staff. Initiate and maintain effective communication to promote positive UNMC Physicians relations. Education Required: Bachelors of science in Nursing or equivalent experience. Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of NE. Currently certified in basic life support. May require ACLS in some clinic settings. May need specialty certification in some clinic settings. Experience Required: Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical management experience. Minimum of 2 years experience in an outpatient/physician office. Ability to lead and develop teams. Flexibility and dedication to team environment. Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to anticipate and respond effectively to changes in direction and priorities. Well-ordered approach to problem solving.
