Job Description:
Acquire and assist with the management of data on membership prospects. o Work with prospect lists to contact membership leads through phone and e-mail follow up. o Develop and draft electronic collateral materials to support member recruitment as needed. ? Research o Initiate and manage the development of membership surveys and member research, including needs analyses, satisfaction studies and new member survey. o Support national by-laws regarding membership categories and eligibility and periodically review of members in each category. ? Conferences o Develop, plan and coordinate all aspects of the CUPA-HR Member Service Center (booth) at the regional and national conferences and at other events as appropriate. o Prepare membership materials to promote membership and services at the regional and national conferences and at other events as appropriate. Follow up to solicit membership from non-members attending these events. o Establish a mentoring program for new members and conference attendees. o Along with the director of Member Service and Human Resources and the regional or national board, develop and provide administrative support to new member orientations held in conjunction with the regional and national conferences. o Travel to chapter, regional and national conferences as necessary. ? Other Membership Duties o Assist director and CEO to ensure continuity of volunteer involvement in member recruitment and retention.
