This position is a TERM appointment not to exceed 13 months. The selectee for this position may be extended without further competition to a maximum of five years and may be further extended by the authorized management official for one additional year. The selectee may be non-competitively converted to Career status in the same pay band for which hired afterserving two years of continuous service with a level two or higher rating of record. Term employees receive all benefits (leave accrual, health insurance, life insurance, etc.). Key Requirements: Travel and relocation expenses will not be paid Position is to be filled through Delegated Examining Authority A background investigation is required This is a key position This is a drug testing position This is a TERM Position NTE 13 Months Major Duties: Researches, interprets and applies AF, and pharmacy instructions and state and Federal laws. Establishes policies and procedures for accomplishment of operations. Plans and schedules work. Coordinates plans and schedules with other supervisors. Provides directions on administrative issues. Provides advice to supervisor on problems related to work accomplishment. Establishes metrics. Performs self-inspection and presents report with corrective actions. Follows-up to ensure complete resolution of discrepancies. Recognizes/takes action to correct situations posing threat to the health/safety of subordinates. Represents unit in organization's meetings.
