Job Description:
Responsibilities: - Works with minimal supervision and will also serve as a group manager for a team of direct response professionals. - Develops effective marketing campaigns using knowledge and experiences of the telecommunications industry to implement high performing objectives and strategies that will yield the highest response and sales results. - Must possess familiarity with database segmentation and uses for effective marketing campaigns. - Documents all plans in creative fashion, using the available tool such as communications plans and creative briefs. - Lead external advertising agencies and cross-functional team to deliver communications strategies and executions that are designed to intensify the relationship between the brand and its customers. - Accountable for direct response efforts by may also need to provide support for other tactics such as TV, radio, OOH and online. - Functions as a "go-to" member of the National Marketing Program Development team with a a full understand of strategy, results and industry trends. - Fosters and forges relationships with key stakeholders to develop the strategy and support of programs that will further the acquisition and growth of company. - Responsible for interpreting marketing intelligence (competitive, research and customer buying habits) to determine the best messaging strategy and tactics based on market and competitive dynamics need. Requirements: - A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required. - An MBA or equivalent is preferred. - 6-8 years of ad agency and/or client side advertising experience. - Direct response campaign development experience a must. - Previous broadband/telecommunications marketing/advertising experience desired. - Experience working in a matrix environment a plus. - Experience managing the 4 P's of the marketing matrix (via Product Management, Marketing Management, Channel Management, or Marcom/Agency experience) desired. - Clear understanding of database marketing. - Broadcast media development (television / radio) a must. - Excellent oral and written communication skills a must. - Impeccable organization and analytical skills. - Demonstrated project management skills. - Strong leadership and proven ability to positively influence change. - Proven creative problem solver with ability to work in a hyper-changing environment. - Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills. - Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams across all levels of the organization.
