Job Description:
Responsibilities: - Be responsible for achieving sales and profitability targets by defining and implementing sales and pricing strategies to grow the channel across all markets and product lines. - Develop partner value propositions, recruitment and enablement of partners and design programs and offers that are scalable on a global basis. - Perform economic evaluation of new partner deals, provide negotiating position, identify critical deal points and alternative deal structures. - Identify and implement marketing programs for Channel customers as well as marketing programs for development and growth of technical service programs. - Guide and monitor the development and maintenance of customer relationships in the channel with respect to all field sales and marketing activities. Participates personally as needed. Calls on customers with or without sales personnel. - Negotiate, with sales personnel, distributor and customer LTA's and sales contracts in the channel. Maintain contract files and renewal schedule. Set strategy for agreements globally. - Manage process and communication for Distributor Council globally. - Report on marketing trends, competition and competitive products and support the development of new sales opportunities through the channel with new products, product improvements and service enhancements. Requirements: - A Bachelor's degree is required (business or technical); an MBA degree is preferred. - 5 years of channel management experience is required. - Experience providing timely reports on channel expansion opportunities, alignment of promotional goals to sales forecasts, acquisition of market share information, market trends and competitive information. - Field sales management experience desired. - Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive global strategies. - Strong ability to get results in a cross-cultural context. - Administrative knowledge including product price estimation, compensation policies and forecasting. - Willingness to travel.
