Job Description:
We are looking for a Sharepoint Developer with .Net development skills for a contract position with us. Job Requirements:
Specific responsibilities include:
* Performs Expert-level development in C#.NET using Visual Studio 2003/2005
* Assists in the documentation, estimation, and implementation of complex enterprise scale applications.
* Performs OO Architecture and design.
* Will work with multiple programming languages and platforms to integrate a variety of custom built and commercial business systems, as well as open source scripts into a Microsoft Windows, SQL, and SharePoint clustering environment.
* Will also serve as a technical SME for SharePoint and windows development.
Technical Skills Required:
* Expertise in developing MS SharePoint 2007 Portal Server Solutions
* Expertise in T-SQL - MS SQL Server 2005
* Expertise in OOAD (Object Oriented Analysis and Design) using UML.
* Experience with MS authentication and security models (Active Directory, Windows Authentication)
* Expertise with XML
* Solid working experience in Microsoft Active Directory, SQL development and schema design, and C#.
* Experience developing web-services
* Solid understanding of 3-tier architecture, objected oriented analysis and design
* Strong communications and interpersonal skills
* Mastery of the core SDE skills is required; these include: critical thinking, problem solving, design, and most critically, attention to performance, scalability, reliability, availability at the system and component level.
* Be strong in data structures and design skills – current design uses inherently complex, cross-referenced, nested trees
* Must have terrific communication and presentation skills, as will be faced with independent representation of SIQ to our customers
* Must have proven a successful architected application or enterprise application.
* Web application and windows applications with strong web experience is required.
* Experience developing software in an agile environment.
* Experience with Test Driven Development and Automated Unit testing a definite plus
* Other languages/platform experience a definite plus
* Expertise in C#.NET Language
* Experience with InfoPath forms solutions a definite plus
Soft Skills Preferred:
* As this is a potentially customer-facing role, the developer needs to be confident in their skills, as well as be able to communicate at a non-technical level.
* Needs to work well under pressure with tight deadlines.
* Needs to have a love of learning.
* Needs to be able to accurately estimate their own work.
* Excellent writing and organizational skills.
* Ability to work both independently and collectively in a team environment.
* Capable of making decisions and recognizing and managing conflict situations.
