Job Description:
Responsibilities include US government market business development and government contracting consulting for products and services that Air Products sells to the US government including small-scale systems, Prism membranes, hydrogen energy systems, and electronics and performance materials. Individual expected to contact customers/prospects, to make customer presentations and proposals, and to work with the responsible Air Products business area to help sell equipment, services and solutions to the US government. Individual will take the lead responsibility to review customer purchase orders and justify commercial item designation as required.Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or technical degree is desired* MBA desired, but not required* 10 or more years experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulations desired* Strong knowledge of Air Products businesses and technologies* Strong commercial and customer interaction experience* Strong communication skills written and verbal* 20+% travel.Government Contracting (GC) is a part of the Enabling Technologies Center of Corporate Technology. GC is responsible for leveraging Air Products R&D funding with government funding, contract administration of all government funded programs, and new business development and government contracting consulting for products and services that Air Products sells to the US government.
