The successful candidate will plan, manage and allocate IT resources, shape priorities, coordinate interactions with clients, and keep project teams focused through the design, development, testing, and implementation of efficient, cost effective application development solutions for QVC. Maintains established practices and procedures that ensure the integrity and quality of project deliverables in accordance with the approved life cycle methodology. Develop new applications in compliance with approved architecture and software standard. Provide effective leadership in production support to accurately resolve production problems in a timely manner. Provide input to Director in identifying technological strategies related to the application area to determine their maturity and applicability. Maintain project documentation, including project initiation requests, capital and expense costs and project plans. Promotes collaboration across all functional IT departments. In addition, attract, retain and develop world-class application developers to develop & maintain cutting edge systems & solutions for QVC.Qualifications & Requirements* BA/BS in Computer Science, Business or equivalent work experience.* 8-10 years of overall IT experience.*
