Job Description:
Responsibilities:Create and manage initiatives designed to drive and support the AR function and enhance Cisco's reputation in the industry analyst communityRaise awareness of Cisco's corporate objectives and product portfolio with the analyst community to provide key market endorsement and facilitate salesDrive thought leadership efforts within the industry analyst community covering the software space as well as proactively participate in and influence corporate positioning and messaging efforts at Cisco in this area Collaborate with AR peers, members of the Cisco communications community, and other stakeholders regarding business, communications and marketing objectivesDevelop and drive a strategic AR plan and corresponding supporting programs for Cisco's targeted software-based markets in order to establish credibility/viability and tell a compelling business story, ensuring messages are consistent and impactful Ensure analyst input, observations, advice and other feedback are brought to the attention of appropriate internal audiences to support strategic planning, product launches and message-generation effortsIdentify and target analysts specific to the named areas and proactively develop and maintain ongoing relationships with themAdvise and guide the development and content of analyst presentations to ensure alignment with corporate positioning and overall business/technology solutionsDetermine appropriate spokespeople and deliver training to ensure a clear understanding exists of the analyst audience needs and expectationsAccurately convey appropriate analyst relations protocols and procedures (the rules of engagement) to appropriate internal audiencesEnsure all activities and interactions are entered into the analyst relations database and tracking/reporting systemMonitor the scheduled marketing and development activities.
