Job Description:
The Manager writes programs, sets up, and controls systems to both integrate and automate various business system applications and workflow. The Manager assists with the creation of technology-based research and needs-assessment tools, their implementation and analysis/reporting, and develops, integrates, and maintains a variety of mission-critical databases. The Manager works cooperatively across departments and with the association’s leadership to manage competing needs, priorities and preferences within budget. The Manager reports to and serves as a technology advisor to the Executive Director. NOTES: Telecommuting is allowed. US Residents Only. Salary comensurate with experience; opportunity for advancement as ITS grows Requirements Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a closely related field, and at least 2 years experience post-degree. Three to six years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree. MIS and ITS experience in non-profit associations is highly desirable. Candidates must be organized, efficient, productive, able to communicate effectively, work cooperatively, possess excellent skills in strategizing and integrating, and have a demonstrated ability to work independently on a wide range of IT projects such as configuring PC’s and developing and managing business systems.
