Job Description:
This position is accountable for all IT application activities, including change management, assuring all applications meet HNS IT development standards, managing full life cycles of projects as well as managing the application developers, technical leads, architects, business analysts and QA analysts. Typical duties and responsibilities include: Manage software development, following the process from requirement and conceptual design through detail design, code and system test; Planning (schedule and staff); Executing (tracking, managing daily activities); Monitor the development process and ensure quality standards are met; Manage priority of projects with technical assessment from Tech Lead Engineers & BSA Lead; Manage the roadmap for enhancements; Work with management team / business users to determine objectives and scope for each project; Supervise project team in all aspects of the project; Define roles and responsibilities for each team member; Develop and distribute communications to all project stakeholders; Manage and communicate scope and schedule changes; Develop implementation strategy; Manage timesheets, vacations, budget; Responsible for performance appraisals and setting objectives with staff, rewards and recognition.Required Experience Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems or equivalent experience Requires a minimum of 5 years experience in a large-scale computer operations environment working with production systems and with the code migration process
