Job Description:
The primary responsibilities for this position are to focus on driving product direction, strategy, integration plans (both with the broader HP Portfolio and partner products), competitive analysis, and technical enablement. This position will also manage 2-3 product team members. Additional activities include delivering customer facing presentations & product demonstrations. Required Skills: The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's (undergraduate) degree or Master's (graduate) degree in Business Administration, Marketing or non-business/technical field of study. Demonstrated drive, confidence and risk taking along with the ability to influence and persuade others. Demonstrated experience in designing and executing product launches, and the ability to analyze and communicate on the business and product directions with R&D, sales, executive management, and customers is required. Desired experience with either building or defining new products or products in rapidly evolving and emerging markets. A software engineering background or other professional technical experience in the areas of SOA or other parts of the HP Software portfolio including our Identity Management offering.
