RESPONSIBILITIES Oversight for all accounting functions including AR, AP, Payroll and Inventory at operating company and affiliated companies. Accounting managers from each company report to this position. Consolidation; intra group reconciliation. Cash flow management and allocation of capital among affiliated companies. Management of internal and external debt and equity financing. Management of banking relationships, including negotiation of covenant and fee structures. Review/Audit and management of relationship with external accounting firms. Federal and multi-State taxation issues. Manage the annual budgetary process. Manage the monthly close process and compile monthly reports that provide clear, concise, timely and accurate information. Work with managers to prepare annual P&L, balance sheet and cash flow budgets. Ensure payroll compliance and handle all matters relating to taxation and registration. Assist in the implementation and management of a common ERP and MIS system. Understand the business and establish the metrics and reporting mechanisms required for management to stay ahead of the business. Reporting of company performance to the board of directors. Put in place and manage internal financial controls.
