Job Description:
Education and Financial Aid Associations and Affiliates. As a leader in the department, the Director is expected to assist in planning and actively participating in on-campus events requiring financial aid expertise such as Accepted Students Days, Orientations, Open Houses, and other student recruitment events. The Director also oversees the collection and reporting of data from the department and distributing reports to appropriate agencies, publications, and internal offices. We are currently seeking candidates with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and 7 years of progressive financial aid experience. These qualifications are required as are a working knowledge of financial aid software such as PowerFaids extensive knowledge of federal, state, and institutional policies and regulations. A Master’s degree and experience working with the Datatel system is preferred. Candidates who can demonstrate an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. The right candidate must possess the ability to work in a team environment, excellent verbal and written communication skills, a customer-focused mindset to initiate and develop positive working relationships with internal and external clients of the University, and leadership qualities to inspire and motivate.
