Accounts Payable Manager Position Summary: Responsible for accurate and timely processing of records and disbursements by: training team members and documenting processes, measuring processing results, identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives, developing and tracking metrics, developing incentive programs, motivating the team, performing a variety of highly advanced skills and/or accountant duties, assisting in conveying information, applying accepted procedures to the preparation and maintenance of accounting and other records. This is for the Accounts Payable team Key Responsibilities: • Drive a high-performing team to higher levels of throughput and expanded capacity for complexity. • Determine -and implement tracking mechanism for - metrics which define efficiency and quality. • Develop team members so that efforts are aligned with the strategic direction of • Prepare and Analyze disbursements for detailed accuracy relevant to business operations. • Maintain and organize files and information. • Communicate projects, plans, and prioritizing needs to Supervisor. • Prepare required reports for internal and external financial reporting. • Perform analytical functions and other assigned duties as needed. • Assist, educate and train others when needed. • Perform other duties as assigned by Plant Managers or Supervisors. • Manage, control and maintain the Accounts Payable process • Recommend and implement procedures for improving processing and control •
