Perform month-end closing tasks as assigned. Prepare supplemental financial schedules required by tax SEC regulations. Prepare sales and use tax returns in accordance with state and local filing deadlines. Assist with SOX 404 documentation updates and testing as required. Identify opportunities for process improvements or automation. Support management in completing special projects and other tasks as assigned. Education/Certification Requirements Bachelors degree in Accounting CPA certification strongly preferred, high degree of GAAP knowledge a plus.Work Experience Minimum of 4-5 years in accounting required, minimum of 5-7 work years preferred Public Accounting or Fortune 500 Consumer Packaged Goods experience a plusKnowledge/Skills/Abilities: Strong team player with excellent communication skills. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to review results, identify anomalies and take appropriate follow-up action.
