Job Description:
We are currently seeking a motivated; growth oriented Project Manager with a strong site civil engineering background and a willingness to be part of a well respected team of well known area professionals in an office that will be one of the firm’s premier locations.
Job Requirements:
This is a great opportunity for the right individual. Using past experience interacting with sub-consultants and regulatory agencies and addressing municipal engineering issues to develop and manage the scope, schedule and budget and delivery of projects. This position will be responsible for coordinating the work of engineers, and developing and monitoring project performance. Position may include overseeing and facilitating detailed design elements being engineered in other regional offices in New England; some travel may be required.
Qualifications:
• BS in Civil Engineering required.
• MS in Civil Engineering desirable.
• PE registration desirable.
• 7-10 years' professional experience with an engineering consulting firm
• Solid technical expertise in Roadway Design, Water and Wastewater Utility Design, Storm water/Drainage Design, Site Grading and understanding New York State and Federal Permitting.
• Knowledge and understanding of GIS desirable.
• Experience with municipal engineering projects, including parks and recreation development, and Brownfield’s redevelopment.
• Understanding of New York State and Federal grant and funding programs for municipalities.
• Strong written and verbal skills
