Job Description:
Responsibilities: - Ensure that specific identified market segments gain and maintain a dominant share in their assigned territory. - Responsible for revenue and margin growth of the identified segment. - Merge the sales and marketing processes into a mega-process with the result of identifying and developing market driven strategies as directed by the Market Segment Manager. These strategies will be implemented through discrete sales operating plans, measuring the results and adjusting the process, strategies and tactics for maximum revenue and profit generation. - Accomplishes this task by identifying and assessing customers needs (key buying factors); working with the Market Segment Manager to evaluate competitive offerings; and develop comprehensive, customer-centered marketing and sales plans that differentiate the segment by delivering customer value (satisfying needs) better than the competition. - Shares in the responsibility of the strategic planning process for the identified segment(s) and cross-functionally orchestrates and orients resources toward creating and delivering value. - Assistance to the sales force in evaluating customers' needs, identification and implementation of innovative opportunities, positioning of products and services, the determination of the marketing mix, branding, price positioning, and determination of the most effective sales channels. - Accountable for revenue and transfer margin of the identified segment(s). - Assists in the implementation of market strategies, the action plan to roll out products and services to targeted segments, and guides the efforts that direct distributors and contractors and indirect customers (contractors, engineers, architects, and building owners) to recognize company Building Systems as the single authority in the market segments we choose to participate in. Requirements: - 4 year degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Construction Management is required. - 5 years of combined marketing and sales experience in the construction industry or Construction Management related to the specific segment.
