Qualifications
Preferred Candidate will possess:
*Experience working in a healthcare environment preferred.
*Required Bachelor's degree in related field and at least 5 years of experience in the field.
*Preferred several courses toward Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
*Proficient knowledge and understanding of the regulatory laws affecting compensation (e.g. FLSA, Equal Pay Act, ADEA, etc.)
Job Requirements:
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities are to research, develop, implement and administer Adventist
HealthCare¿s compensation programs, including incentive plans.
Specific duties are to review:
*positions for compliance with FLSA;
*make recommendations on the grading and re-grading of
positions and salary adjustments
*benchmark positions and participate in and analyze the results
of salary surveys
*provide compensation information and systems for easy use and understanding
by management at all levels
*conduct research/analysis to ensure base pay is competitive and
equitable at all levels to retain and attract staff
*evaluate compression issues between jobs and
make recommendations where problems are identified
*perform position analysis and recommend
job evaluations for exempt and non-exempt positions; and leverage technology to automate and
make compensation administration more effective and efficient.
