Job Description:
Responsibilities: - Develop and lead the implementation of marketing plans designed to increase client and advisor satisfaction, client acquisition and revenue/profitability for HRBFA in-line with the corporate strategic plan and goals. Prioritize projects based on evaluation of short- and long-term benefits. - Lead the development of marketing materials (i.e. brochures, kits, banners, signs), communications, and client acquisition direct mail. - Manage the direction of activities for outside advertising agency, as well as provide evaluation regarding effectiveness and quality of work completed. - Work with external vendors and product partners to leverage resources and ideas. - Partner with internal business partners, including Retail Tax, Recruiting, Tax Integration team, Products and Sales Development to identify marketing/communications solutions to support advisor and client needs. - Support the development and execution of content for the public website. - Oversee measurement of marketing programs. - Provide advanced marketing support directly to field management and advisors. Requirements: - A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, related area or equivalent combination of education and work experience. - 5-8 years of relevant marketing and/or financial services experience. - NASD Series 6 or 7 license, or must be obtained within 90 days. - Strong strategic planning, organizational, and prioritization skills to manage many projects simultaneously, while meeting deadlines. - Proven ability to develop and implement marketing strategies and communication plans, with specific expertise in managing creative resources and production. - Self-motivated, proactive and goal-oriented individual. - Demonstrated ability to influence others. Able to lead up and across. - Effective verbal and written communication skills. Able to work as part of a team as well as independently. - Ability to develop and manage strong relationships both across firm Block and externally. - Extremely high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
