Job Description:
Responsibilities: - Authors and directs internal communication and marketing materials, working closely with stakeholders to appropriately package the information for internal audience business partners. Researches and writes flawless copy- always correct, clear, and accurate as well as appropriate for the objective, audience and medium (includes e-newsletters, portal/intranet sites, webcast and webinars, town halls, etc.). - Promote the SRS brand and positions all messaging in the context of SRS' core values and overall strategy and goals. Partners with Marketing Manager in the development of new branding/business-building projects. - Prepares presentations and provides general marketing support, including brochures and videos, for SRS special events/conferences/trade shows. - Writes, edits and oversees production of SRS direct mail efforts, partnering with the sales team to create targeted, result-oriented campaigns. - Works closely with the company's senior executives to write/edit employee-directed and client communications. - Assist executives and other presenters as required with creating presentations for internal and external meetings. - Provides ongoing consultation and support for key initiatives, products, and services that require communication to stakeholders. - Creates and improves internal communication newsletters, documents, and tools utilized by SRS, and manages SRS intranet site design and content. - Creates and presents communication plans, obtaining overall approvals from leadership. - Develops and closely manages the Marketing budget including annual planning, project monitoring, and on-going tracking. - Partners with company subject matter experts to gather information. - Manages the work of vendors and other creative services venues as needed and leads contract negotiations. Requirements: - A Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing, Communications or Public Relations preferred. - 5+ years of work experience in communications, marketing, branding or advertising required. - Experience with project management and creative program development across a variety of advertising and communications mediums, including direct marketing and electronic marketing strongly preferred. - Experience with graphic design or content management systems a plus, but not required. - Knowledge of insurance industry helpful. - Superior writing and editing skills. - Strong budgetary management skills and accountability.
